Apple empanada

Apple in Thermomix

At home this has triumphed Apple empanada. It is made with two sheets of puff pastry and a very simple compote that we prepare in Thermomix.

So that the empanada has those cuts on the surface I have used a roller special. To seal the edges I used a fork.

It can be served with a chocolate sauce or with simple sugar and butter sauce. I have prepared one with 90 g of icing sugar, 10 g of butter and a diced apple. It is the sauce that you see in the photo above.
