Basic recipe: minced parsley and garlic

The minced parsley and garlic is one of the basic recipes that you cannot miss in your kitchen Because it is used in countless recipes, whether it be to make a poach, a stew, a sauce or a vinaigrette.

It is so simple and easy that even beginners or those who are new to their Thermomix can do it. Just carry 2 ingredients and in a few seconds you will have your own snack ready to be used.

Take the opportunity to double the amounts and make more. Like all basic recipes this too you are going to use it a lot.

How to preserve the minced parsley and garlic?

Saving this basic recipe is as simple as making it. Do you have different options:

The first is to put it directly in a freezer bag or clean jar and store it in the freezer. Believe it or not, the mixture is quite loose and it is easy to take portions as you need it.

The second is to put it in a clean container and cover it with oil. Fat prevents food from oxidizing or drying out, so you can have your snack in the fridge and it will always be freshly made.

The third, and the one I like the most, is to put the bite into an ice bucket, distributing the content well so that the cubes are even. We pour extra virgin olive oil until complete until the cavities are full and we introduce the tray in the freezer. After a few hours, your cubes will have formed, you can unmold them and transfer them to a zip-lock bag or a jar.

This last option is fantastic because it is already divided into portions. You just have to take them and use them in your favorite recipes.

To give you an idea, with these amounts that I indicate I usually fill only 6 holes in the ice bucket. That's why when I do the chopped ground double the amounts to make chopped for a while.
