Magic cake or cup cake

2b

Magic cakethat's what my children call it. And I am not surprised because it is fantastic to see how that dough so easy to make begins to grow in a few seconds.

You have to do it. Prepare the dough as soon as you have a little while and then, when you want to surprise your guests or the little ones, you put it in the cups and ... to the microwave.

The presentation gives a lot of play and you eat with spoon, warm ... Come on, a delight.

If our quick bread is called miracle bread, our express cake is, from today, the magic cake.

What power is the microphone put on? Do you have to grease the cups before putting the dough?
I like the idea of โ€‹โ€‹eating it warm!

         Ascen Jimenez said

      Hello Rocio,
Put it at full power. You do not need to grease the cups because we will take it in them, without having to take it out. Anyway, if they get greasy, nothing happens either.
      I hope you like it!

    Thanks Ascen !!!

It can be done in a conventional oven, I don't have a microwave. If yes, at what temperature, approximate time and position (only down, up and down, up and down and fan). Thank you so much for the recipe.

      Hello Angels:
I have not made it in a conventional oven so I will answer you with my opinion, without being able to guarantee the result.
Most importantly, be careful with the container you choose since it has to withstand the temperature of the oven.
I would put it with a fan, at 170-180ยบ and over timeโ€ฆ it will depend on the size of the container. Maybe 10 minutes, I don't know, the first time don't lose sight of it and take it out when you see it's done.
Will you tell us how are you?
      Thank you!

Please tell me an approximate time

         Ascen Jimenez said

      Hello Cuca,
In a cup of espresso it is ready, more or less, in 15 seconds. In a larger mug (like the one in the photo with the flowers) it takes about 1 minute.
      I hope you like it.

Hi, thanks for the recipe, I'll make it for sure !! But I need you to guide me over time. My glass is opaque and I cannot see how the cake rises and I do not know if it is a matter of 30 โ€ณ, or 3 โ€ฒ or 10 โ€ฒ. By knowing when to open to control. For example, the cup, how long has it taken and how much power? Thank you, beautiful!

      Olalla said

I have already read your answer to Cuca, we have crossed paths, hahahahaha. Thanks!!

         Ascen Jimenez said

Yes, we have written at the same time ๐Ÿ™‚
If the cup is small, it rises in record time, but if it is a normal cup, the tea cup, try 30 seconds at the beginning and then you go up. If after 30 seconds you see that it is still raw, nothing happens because you have interrupted the cooking, you put it another seconds and that's it.
The good thing is that we can choose the size of the cup based on how we want the portions to be.
You will tell me if you like it.
      A hug!

What cocoa powder do they have? Is it okay to put Cola Cao / Nesquik or better to put value cocoa powder without added sugar?

         Ascen Jimenez said

      Hi Ana,
Better cocoa powder without added sugar, which is usually used in desserts.
Will you tell us how it looks?
      Take care!

Hi there! What do you want to try this recipe? A consulting room, if I want to save and conserve part of the dough, how should I do it and how long would it last? Thank you very much in advance.

      Hi Lau,
Store it in the refrigerator, covered with cling film, but for a short time (I would tell you, no more than a day) because it contains an egg.
      I hope you like it.

Hello, what a good idea, the cup cake is great, but I have a question, how much is 2/3 d a cup? Forgive my naivety and thank you very much for making cooking tasks easier for us.

         Ascen Jimenez said

      Hello Maria Jose,
Imagine that you divide the cup into three parts ... because two thirds would be filling two of those three parts. In short, do not fill the cup completely so that the dough, when rising, has space.
      A hug!
