Potato croquettes and serrano ham

Potato and ham sticks

Today we propose some original potato croquettes with ham they always win. They are ideal for dinner if we accompany them with a good salad, and children like them very much.

Do not think that they are like traditional croquettes because they are not made with béchamel. Perhaps that is why they are easier to prepare. The dough is done in a moment if we have the cooked potato. And you'll see, giving them shape and coating them is sewing and singing.

I leave the link to another recipe of this type, in this case with meat, in case you like the idea.

I usually make croquettes but I almost always make them with chicken, they take a lot of work because I roasted the meat before, I have found these very easy and they must be very good, the only thing I'm not sure about is adding the breadcrumbs, they can be made without breadcrumbs, thanks.

      Hi Sara:
The grated bread is put so that the dough has consistency. Try to put something less, to see how it goes.
You will see that they are not at all like the usual croquettes, but the potato ones are also very tasty. And you can substitute the serrano ham for chicken or another ingredient as long as it is already cooked. I hope you like them 🙂
      A hug!
