This rice has been a discovery: garlic butter rice. It is a rice of Asian origin perfect as a side dish. Its ingredients are very easy: long grain rice (the jasmine or basmati type, they are delicious because they are very aromatic), good quality butter, garlic and parsley. We are also going to put a pinch of turmeric in the water so that we have that little yellow color.
After having it cooked, we will add a little more butter to give it more flavor and a little chopped chives or sweet onion to give it a contrast of flavor and texture. Exquisite!
This recipe is designed for the TM6, to use the "rice cooking" function that will allow us to cook our rice to the exact and delicious point. Very easy!
Basmati rice with garlic butter (TM6)
This Garlic Butter Basmati Rice is a perfect side dish. Its flavor, texture and aroma will make it an unmistakable dish. Do not miss it!
It does not state when the turmeric is added.
Thanks Eva, it is already fixed. The turmeric is added when you add the water 🙂 we hope you like it!
And for the Tmx 31?… .Can it be adapted?
@ Raúl Castro and @ElenaFerreras,
yes, it can be perfectly adapted. The only thing you would have to do apart is (optional) if you want to have those golden garlic decoration on top. That would have to brown them in a pan with a little oil. The rest I tell you how it would be done:
1. We put 1 tablespoon of butter and the other garlic in the glass. We chop 4 seconds, speed 5, we lower the remains of the lid and walls towards the blades and we program 4 minutes, temperature 100º, spoon speed.
2. Add 1000 g of water, turmeric and salt into the glass and heat 7 minutes, temperature 100º, spoon speed.
3. We place the basket inside the glass, put the rice in the basket, close the machine and program 10 minutes, varoma, speed 3 1/2.
4. Pour into a large bowl and spread well, add the other tablespoon of butter and stir and loosen the grains with a fork. Sprinkle with parsley, chopped chives and decorate with garlic (optional).
That easy!! It's delicious, you'll see 😉 Thank you for your messages and for following us!
