Sponge cake with pieces of fig

There are few cakes simpler than the one we propose today: our cake mix and ready. Of course, before mixing we will have to grate the sugar with the lemon peel.

The rest couldn't be easier. You just have to put the ingredients in the glass and, now, mix by programming 30 seconds, speed 5.

Once that mixture is made we will add the fruit. I have put some pieces of figs, which I still had in the freezer from last summer. I froze them with their skin on and to use them in desserts all I do is peel them and chop them if the recipe requires it. I peel and chop them while they are still frozen.

Don't you have figs? Well, replace them with any fruit that you have at home and that you want to use up: apple, strawberries... In addition to a very simple sweet, you will be preparing a wonderful harvest recipe.
