Chocolate mousse with aquafaba

Incredible but true. The canned water from chickpeas or beans pairs impressively well. Yes, yes, I mean that water that comes in the jar and that we always throw away. Don't you believe it? Well, look at the video I have made for you. In it you will see how to prepare a chocolate mousse Irresistible but it does not contain egg, cream, or gelatin, because with the aquafaba we will not need it.

I'll write an article about her, about him aquafaba, to resolve any doubts that may arise. For now, do not stop making this mousse. You will also be surprised how good it is.

Try to make the water of a canning jar of quality, with little salt. And the chickpeas you can use to prepare this stew.

It can even be done with the water of the legume cooked at home, taking into account a number of things. I will give you the steps to follow in that article that I am preparing.

There are jars and jars ... in any case, we can always cook the chickpeas at home and use that same water.
      Thanks for writing to us!!

That water has many preservatives and stabilizers. I would not use it

Disgusting, I always wash and drain the legume in a glass jar super well because they told me it was necessary and it is true that a lot of foam comes out. I will never make that mousse, sorry.

      Hi Berta,
This product is great for people with egg allergies. Of course, you have to read the labels well because there are "boats" and "boats". In any case, you can always cook the legume at home and use that water.
      A hug!

good, my problem is that I never get enough water from the bottle for the recipe, is it because of the brands that I buy ?? can you mix several waters ?? If so, how long does it last in the fridge? What brands do you recommend? And the last one, hehe, how do you cook chickpeas in the thermomix?
Also, I don't think such disparaging comments were necessary, if the recipe doesn't like it, it's not done, I say ...

      Thanks Romina,
      I agree with you 😉
The important thing is the ingredients. The boats I use only have chickpeas, water and salt. Nothing more. But I don't live in Spain so I can't tell you which brand is the best there.
You can use two cans although only with the content of one it already mounts very well. Have you tried it?
Cooking chickpeas in Thermomix takes a long time ... for chickpeas and beans I prefer the pressure cooker 😉
      Kisses!

For people who are apprehensive about aquafaba, say totally healthy. Organic chickpeas are bought in a jar and the aquafaba is used safely, it does not contain any additives or preservatives. It is healthier and "cleaner" than eggs or gelatin, healthier, more nutritious. Do not make disgust, it was used in ancient times
Thank you very much for the recipe, it's great!
