Do you fancy some cookies? Well, today's, our cookies with cornmealz, they are a great option. They also carry wheat flour, the normal one. Those 150 grams of cornmeal provide a different texture that, at least at home, is very popular.

I have put chocolate fondant chopped but you can use Chocolate chips if you want them to be more beautiful.

Are made with whole cane sugar. If you don't have one, don't hesitate to replace it with the one you have at home.

Ingredients

  • 80 g of whole cane sugar
  • The skin of a lemon (only the yellow part)
  • 200 g of wheat flour
  • 150 g of cornmeal, the yellow one (be careful, it is not cornstarch)
  • 100 g butter in pieces
  • 2 eggs
  • A pinch of salt
  • About 80 g of chocolate fondant

Preparation

  1. Put the whole cane sugar and lemon peel (only the yellow part) in the glass. we program 10 seconds, speed 10. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass.

  2. Add the two flours, the butter in pieces, the eggs and the salt. we program 20 seconds, speed 5.

  3. Add the chocolate into small pieces (I chop it with a knife) and program 10 seconds, left turn, speed 1.

  4. We form small balls with our hands and we are putting them on two oven trays that we will have previously covered with baking paper.

  5. Lightly crush the balls with your fingers.

  6. Bake (preheated oven) at 190º for 10-15 minutes, until we see that they are golden.
