Simply perfect lasagna

Lasagna

Now yes yes, this is without a doubt the perfect lasagna. It is inspired by Jamie Oliver's family lasagne, one of my favorite cooks. It is true that it is a very elaborate lasagna, but I assure you that it is well worth it because it is suuuuuper delicious and spreads a lot. With this recipe we will make about 8 servings, so if there are many of you at home it will be great and if not, you can freeze it.

It is essential that you use good quality minced meat, is the same as what we always tell you with meatballs or burgers. That will mark everything. I usually use 50% pork and 50% beef. But if you want, to save a bit, you can use 75% pork and 25% beef or 100% pork.

The key to this recipe are two: a great Italian style ragout and a very tasty béchamel made with leeks. What I usually do is buy about 2 kg of minced meat and cook it ragout style. Later I freeze different tuppers to take it with pasta, cannelloni or lasagna or also mashed potatoes or rice.

I have also used fresh lasagna pasta, highly recommended, you have to try it! You will find it in the supermarket refrigerators (where fresh pasta and puff pastry doughs). If you can't find it, you can use precooked lasagna, so you can use it directly without having to cook it before.

I also recommend using two good cheeses: Parmesan y Cheddar, but if you can buy them in deli or wedge-type portions. I would shy away from packaged grated cheeses because they are not of very good quality and are very fatty. The flavor will not have anything to do if you use a good cheese.

So as you can see, this lasagna has preparation, but it really is going to spread a lot and, therefore, it is worth investing a little money in good ingredients. Nor is it going to make you so expensive and, really, the taste and quality they are really appreciable.

Hi Pedro, you have to put them in the lasagna assembly, when you put the meat, the bechamel and the cheeses. 🙂 Thank you for writing us. You will tell us if you like it.

    Hello

    Thank you

      Hello Eva,

The tomato that we use to make the Bolognese type meat ragout is crushed or chopped natural packaged tomato, which you can find in any supermarket. And I also take the opportunity to show you other delicious tomato sauce that we use in our recipes and that you can prepare completely at home, much healthier and more natural:

I hope you enjoy them! Thanks for writing and following us 😉
