Millet, chicken and vegetable porridge

Preparing porridge at home for your baby is easy, cheap and very simple. Today we show you how to prepare a very complete millet, chicken and vegetable porridge.

From the 6-8 months old you can introduce the millet in the porridge. This cereal allows us to have a more varied and complete diet thanks to its nutrients.

Millet, rich in vitamin of group B, potassium, phosphorus and iron. It stands out for its great contribution in magnesium, a mineral that has to be very present throughout life because it participates in the fixation of calcium in the bones.

The millet grains are very tiny. So to cook it it is better not to use the basket, since they strain through its slits. After several tests, the best thing to do is to do it as if it were steamed rice in the varoma. What allows us cook several servings at the same time, not only for our baby, but also to make delicious recipes for us.

When your baby grows up and starts to eat with his fingers, you can prepare cooked millet for him. It is great to put pinches in the mouth and is tender, soft, has a high fiber content and also does not contain gluten.
