We go there with a simple sponge cake, butter and with some fruit on the surface.

We are going to bake it in one baking dish which will then be the one we will bring to the table. If you don't have a source like the one you see in the photo, you can use your usual sponge cake mold.

We will make the dough, we will put some apple balls on the surface and then, once out of the oven, when it cools, we will cover our sponge cake with powdered sugar. That easy.

Ingredients

  • 120 butter g
  • 160 g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 10 g of yeast for Royal type sweets
  • 80g milk
  • 80 g of natural yogurt
  • 2 apples
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation

  1. We preheat the oven to 180 °.

  2. We put the butter in the glass and program 4 minutes, 60 °. speed 1. We take out the melted butter and reserve it.

  3. We put  in the glass and the sugar and the eggs We mix by programming 1 minute, 30 seconds, speed 4.

  4. Add the flour, cornstarch, yeast, milk and yogurt. We program 1 minute and 30 seconds, spike speed.

  5. We reschedule 1 minute and 30 seconds, spike speed and, with the blades in motion, we add the melted butter.

  6. We put our dough in a baking dish like the one seen in the photo (approximately 30 × 18 centimeters), or in a rectangular or even round sponge cake between 22 and 26 centimeters in diameter.

  7. We wash two apples and make balls with the appropriate utensil. If we do not have it, we simply chop them into slices or cubes. We put the apple pieces on the surface.

  8. We bake at 180° for about 40 minutes.

  9. Let it cold down. Once cold, sprinkle icing sugar on the surface.
