Apple strudel with Thermomix

Preparation

1. We put in the glass all the ingredients of the dough except the flour and mix during 10 seconds at speed 4.

2. Now add the flour and knead programming 3 minutes, spike speed. We take the dough out of the glass and wrap it in plastic wrap. We let it rest for about 15 minutes.

3. Without washing the glass, add the sugar, raisins, walnuts and cinnamon. We program 5 seconds, speed 4. We take out and reserve.

4. We spread one or two sheets of greaseproof paper (a large white cloth or plastic like the one I have used and that you can see in the photo also works well) and we spread the dough on it, helping us with a rolling pin and with our hands. We have to get a rectangular shape and leave the dough thin, being careful not to break it.

5. We preheat the oven to 180º.

6. We paint the dough with the melted butter.

7. We put the apples with the lemon juice in the glass and program 4 seconds, speed 4.

8. Spread the sugar, raisins and reserved nuts on the dough.

9. On top we put the apples and the melted butter that we have left over, reserving a little and then painting the strudel once it is formed.

10. We begin to roll up helping us with the paper, pressing at the same time with our hands. Before finishing rolling it, we paint the end with a little water so that it sticks well. We leave the union down so that when baking it does not open.

11. We place the strudel on a baking tray that we will have covered before with the baking paper that we have used to spread the dough.

12. We paint the strudel with the melted butter and bake it for 40 or 45 minutes.

13. We serve it, hot or cold. We can decorate it by sprinkling icing sugar and / or cinnamon on the surface. It can be served with English cream or vanilla ice cream.
