If you want to prepare cauliflower in a different way you have to make today's recipe. We are going to cook it in varoma, as we have done on other occasions, but then we will coat it in a kind of cream that we will prepare in the glass.

The end goal of all of this is bake it so that it is tender on the inside, golden on the outside and loaded with flavor thanks to that mixture of herbs, cheese and egg that we have prepared in the glass.

You can cook like this too other vegetables such as broccoli. And, what can you tell me if we prepare some simple potatoes following this same recipe? They have to be great.

Ingredients

  • 500 g of tap water
  • 1 small cauliflower
  • 15 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 20 g of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove
  • A few sprigs of fresh parsley
  • 2 fresh sage leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
  • A little dried thyme
  • Sal Island
  • Nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 15 g pine nuts

Preparation

  1. Cut the cauliflower into bunches. We wash them and place them on the varoma tray.

  2. We put the 500 g of water in the glass and cover it without placing the beaker.

  3. We place the varoma tray on its container and cover it. We place the container in its position, on the glass.

  4. We program 25 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 1.

  5. We carefully remove the cover of the varoma and put it face up, on the worktop. We put the varoma container on it.

  6. We empty the glass, wash it and dry it. We preheat the oven to 200º.

  7. Put the parmesan, garlic clove, parsley and sage in the clean and dry glass.

  8. We program 10 seconds, speed 9. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass.

  9. Add the breadcrumbs, thyme, salt, nutmeg and eggs. We program 20 seconds, speed 4.

  10. We put the cauliflower florets in a bowl. We pour the mixture that we have just prepared on the bouquets and mix everything with the spatula or with a spoon.

  11. Spread the oil in a baking dish and place the bouquets in it.

  12. We put the pine nuts on top and cook in the oven for 20 or 25 minutes, at 200º.

  13. We serve hot.
