A cake made with all the love and with a spectacular flavor. You will be surprised by its delicious flavor of cheese with banana and accompanied with oreo cookies to make the set perfect. It is a very simple dessert to make and with our Thermomix it will facilitate your work.
This cake does not have many steps. You have to make a base made with oreo cookies and a very soft filling made with cream cheese and a mash made with bananas. The only thing left would be to curdle the baked cake and to make it very soft without cracking, we will have to do the bain-marie technique.
In this technique we will have to put the mold inside another mold much larger and full of water. In this way, the impact of heat inside the oven will not be too excessive and the cake will cook more evenly and smoothly.
Banana cake

Ingredients
Cake base
- 170g oreo cookies
- 125g butter, melted
For the cake
- 600g of cream cheese type Philadelphia
- 200g sugar
- 3 tablespoons of wheat or cornstarch flour
- 3 eggs
- 3 ripe bananas
- a tablespoon of vanilla extract
For decoration
- 500ml whipping cream
- 120g sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- oreo cookies
- 1 plátano
Preparation
We make the base of the cake. In our Thermomix glass we add the 170g of oreo cookies and we are going to crush them. We program 20 seconds at speed 6. Next we add the 125g of melted butter and program others 20 seconds at speed 6. If the mixture has not been done well, help to lower the ingredients down with the spatula and re-program others 10 seconds at speed 6.
We prepare a round mold for cakes of about 20 cm in diameter. We line its base with baking paper, as we will put its ingredients on top and thus we can unmold the cake much better. We put the base of the cake on top and expand it throughout its base. We booked.
We heat the oven to 150 °. We prepare the cake mix. In our clean Thermomix glass we add the 3 bananas, slightly split. We are going to crush them, for this we program 30 seconds at speed 5. Next we add the 200g of sugar, the three beaten eggs and the tablespoon of vanilla. We reschedule 30 seconds at speed 4.
We continue to add the 600g of cream cheese and program 30 seconds at speed 4. And finally we add the three tablespoons of flour and program others 30 seconds at speed 4. We check that the mixture has been well done, it has to be smooth and without lumps, if not, go back to program a little more time.
We put the mixture into the pan that we had reserved with the base of the cake. We are going to bake it in a bain-marie, so we will place the cake in a source full of water and put it in the oven to bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. To know that it is done we will put something sharp and if we see that it comes out clean it will be done and finished. If this is not the case, we will leave it in the oven for another 15 minutes.
In our clean Thermomix glass we are going to whip the cream. For the cream to mount well, I usually put the glass in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to cool. Then I place the glass and pour the cream very cold, I place the butterfly and I program during 1 minute at speed 3,5. Normally I tend to be well whipped with these parameters, but the time is indicative, you will have to check how long you need to get the cream perfectly whipped. At the end I add the sugar and vanilla and mix it by hand.
With the cold cake we are going to decorate it. We put the cream in a pastry bag with a wide curly nozzle and decorate the edges of the cake. We place the cookies on top of the cream. We cut a banana into pieces and put it in the middle of the cake. We will have it ready.
