Butter Cookies and Muesli

We go there with some butter cookies and muesli very easy. Our food processor grinds the muesli and mixes all the ingredients. We just have to form balls, flatten them slightly when they are on the baking sheet, and bake.

They carry chocolate oatmeal muesli (At home it is our favorite), but you can put the one you like the most. Of course, if your muesli is very sweet, I recommend reducing the amount of sugar in the cookies.

Butter Cookies with Chocolate Oatmeal Muesli

Ingredients

  • 150 g of oatmeal and chocolate muesli
  • 200 g wholemeal flour (or half wholemeal flour and half normal)
  • 120 g of cane sugar
  • 150g cold butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. We put the muesli in the glass. We program 5 seconds, speed 8.

  2. We add the flour, sugar, butter, egg and salt. We program 20 seconds, speed 5. We reserve the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

  3. After that time we remove the dough from the fridge and form balls of about 15 grams. 

  4. We are placing them on two baking trays covered with baking paper. We lightly crush them with our hands.

  5. Bake at 180 (preheated oven) for approximately 15 minutes, or until we see that they are done.

  6. We remove from the oven and let it cool.
