The other day I made a cake so "without" that it did not convince at home - that's why I haven't published it. The fact is that I was sorry to throw it away and I have been managing to use it in other recipes. One of them is this Calatrava bread, a sweet that my mother used to make when I was little and that I loved.
I've done it my way flavoring the milk with skin of orange and with cinnamon. It is actually very easy and can be a good dessert to take to any celebration.
What of flavor the milk It is optional, if you do not have time you can put the milk as is. Another option is to add a little grated orange peel and ground cinnamon to the mixture, so you will save yourself the step of boiling the milk and letting it cool.
