Candied fruit plum-cake

The candied fruit plum-cake is a simple and perfect cake for Christmas, made with candied fruit which is typical on these dates.

The fruit and raisins are drenched in a little ron, which can be replaced by a non-alcoholic liquor And, if you want to enrich it, you can also add another dried fruit such as walnuts or pistachio.

It is a recipe from the Thermomix Magazine, but I have added more fruit and more raisins. The first time I did it, I crushed the fruit in the Thermomix, with a few turbo strokes, as the recipe says, but they were too small. This time I cut the fruit myself and it turned out much better.

Another thing that surprised me about this recipe is the time and the way to do it. All the ingredients of the dough are mixed in one minute and you do not have to first beat the eggs with the sugar and then add the rest of the ingredients. I thought it would not go up in the oven, but I was wrong, it remains perfect.

    I have had the thermomix for more than 5 years and until now I could not find any incentive. Since my daughter goes to your courses and I see what she does, I have been encouraged and I am doing something or other. The truth is that everything I do goes well but I am very afraid because I am a person prone to gaining weight due to an illness and so far I am maintaining myself quite well, I hope I do not spoil it.
