Marzipan snacks with nuts are one of those simple recipes to prepare and that are very attractive. Perfect to sweeten our table at Christmas.
The idea came about because I made twice the amount of almond paste (which is our beloved marzipan) for a recipe and since I didn't really know what to do with what was left over, it occurred to me to put it with walnuts and that's why I thought: "How about plums? and with dried apricots ?, and with dates? ... "
And so I entertained myself, filling different nuts. The one that had the most success at home was marzipan and walnuts, but with plums it was my favorite.
You can prepare in advance and keep in the fridge. It will only be necessary to remove it a couple of hours before so that it takes an ideal temperature and the flavors are better appreciated. I do not put the grams of the nuts in the ingredients because you can fill them with the amount you want.
