Almond pastes (like bakery)

All the almond pastes that you see in the photo they taste like people. Maybe it's because they have butter, or because of the almond ... I can't tell you, but the truth is that they have nothing to envy the cookies that we can buy in traditional bakeries. In the video that you will find below you can see how they are prepared.

Do not be afraid to use manteca to make sweets. You will find it in any supermarket and it will allow you to prepare recipes as traditional as the ensaimadas or these great angel hair cakes.

The almonds that I have used have skin but you can use peeled almonds. If yours are unpeeled and you want to peel them, you will only have to scald them for a few minutes and you can easily remove the skins.

The almond that we will chop is better toast (a few minutes in the oven will be enough). The ones that we will place on the surface will be raw because it will toast when cooking the cookies.

      In this case, Sandra, it only works well with that ingredient. If you replace it, they will not be the same pastes.
