Anchovy paste

I do not know if you know you know the anchovy paste. It is a very versatile product in the kitchen since it can be used in stews, pasta dishes, with cooked vegetables, in salads and even to make batters.

It is sold both in tubes and in glass jars, but it is best to buy the anchovies and prepare it at home, in Thermomix.

Today I propose that you try it with our fake roasted peppers. You will see what a good combination.

This anchovy paste is used to flavor stews, to accompany salads or to make vegetable dishes more attractive.

Ingredients

For the pasta:

• 100 g anchovies desalted or in oil (drained)
• 50 g of extra virgin olive oil
• 1/2 clove of garlic (or 1 whole, according to taste)
• A few drops of apple cider vinegar
• Ground pepper

Plus:

• Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

1. We put all the ingredients of the pasta in the glass. We shred 10 seconds in progressive speed 5-10. We lower with the spatula what is left on the walls and we crush again in the same speed. We go back down, make sure there are no whole pieces under the blades and grind again (a few seconds, speed 10).

2. We put our pasta in a glass jar and cover it with a drizzle of olive oil.

Notes

Note: the ideal is to use desalted anchovies but you can also use those that come in oil as long as they are well drained.
