Apple pie and puff pastry

apple-pie-and-puff pastry

With a sheet of puff pastry and seasonal products we get a apple cake as simple as today.

This time we do not get too complicated since it is about placing the puff pastry on a tray and, on it, the rest of the ingredients that we will have lightly chopped before with our Thermomix.

Do you dare to try it? You can present it alone, with frozen or even with English cream.

What a good idea !! Could you have some kind of liquor? Could you tell me how much and what? And pastry cream under this filling? Could you bake with the cream? Thank you!

      Hello Rocio,
With pastry cream I think it will look good on you. Yes, you can bake it with it.
About the liquor. I don't know ... either you pour a splash in the apple mixture with nuts (but little) or each one puts a little bit on their plate.
Let's see how you fit with those add-ons. Tell us later 😉
      A hug!

Hi Ascen, thanks for the recipe, I'm about to make it right now. We don't use butter at home because my son is lactose intolerant… why could I substitute it? Neither margarines for the unhealthy. A splash of oil?

    Thank you

      Hello, Martha,
I'm sorry it took so long to give you an answer… 🙁 Why did you substitute it in the end? I think a drizzle of oil would go well.
Where I live, lactose-free butter is easily found, I don't know if you know it ... With it, all recipes can be adapted without problem.
A hug and thanks for following us.
