Today we propose a snack that children like a lot: apple rings. In Thermomix the mixture that we will use to coat the rings is prepared. 

At video You can see all the steps: we peel the apple, remove the inside, cut it into slices, coat the rings and fry them. Then a little sugar and cinnamon and… voila!

You can serve them as picnic and also how dessert. Try them with an English cream and you will see what a delight.

Ingredients

  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 100 g flour
  • 150g milk
  • 2 eggs
  • A little bit of salt
  • 4 or 5 apples
  • The lemon juice of 1
  • Sunflower oil for frying
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon

Preparation

  1. We put the cornstarch, flour, milk, eggs and salt in the glass. We program 30 seconds speed 4 1/2. 

  2. We put the dough in a bowl.

  3. We peel the apples and core them. We cut them into slices. We put them in a bowl and sprinkle them with the lemon juice.

  4. We put plenty of sunflower oil in a pan. When the oil is very hot, one by one, we pass the apple slices through the dough that we have prepared at the beginning, and putting them in the pan. After a few minutes we turn them and let them brown on the other hand.

  5. When they are done we take them out and place them on a plate covered with absorbent paper.

  6. We serve, if we want, with English cream.

    My grandmother made them for me without sugar or cinnamon but to accompany meat in batter, grilled, roasted ... hmm, what good memories !!! ?
