We are going to prepare some orange flavored baked rolls. They are ideal for breakfast, a snack or to take to school for lunch.

They only have sugar flavored with orange peel as the filling, and they are so delicious.

Since all pastry pieces of this type, its preparation requires rising time. Otherwise, the recipe is very simple if we use Thermomix. With this food processor we will heat some ingredients, mix them all and create the dough using the spike speed.

Ingredients

For the filling:

  • 150 g of sugar
  • The peel of two oranges (only the orange part)

For the mass:

  • 50 g butter in pieces
  • 220g milk
  • 50 g of sugar
  • 15 g fresh baker's yeast
  • 500 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. We put the 150 g of sugar and the orange peel in the glass. We program 10 seconds, speed 10. We remove to a bowl and reserve.

  2. We put the butter in the glass and program 3 minutes, 50º, speed 1. We put the butter in a glass or bowl.

  3. Without having to wash the glass, we put the milk, 50 g of sugar and 15 g of baker's yeast in it. We program 2 minutes, 37º, speed 2.

  4. Add the flour, melted butter, eggs and salt. We program 3 minutes, spike speed.

  5. We put the dough in a large bowl and let it rise for two or three hours, covered with a cloth or plastic.

  6. When the dough has doubled in volume, we put it on the counter. We spread it with a rolling pin until we obtain a rectangle of approximately 30x45 centimeters.

  7. Now we spread the flavored sugar that we prepared at the beginning and that we have reserved over the entire surface.

  8. We roll the dough, starting from one of the long sides of the rectangle, pressing well.

  9. With a knife we ​​cut slices of approximately one centimeter. We are placing them on two oven trays that we will have previously covered with baking paper.

  10. We let it rest again for approximately an hour.

  11. We preheat the oven to 180º.

  12. We bake at that temperature for 15 minutes or until our rolls are golden.
