Butter Cookies and Matcha Tea for Christmas

Preparation

1. In our Thermomix glass we add half of the flour (150 g), the 150 g of soft butter and the 125 g of sugar. We schedule it during 1,5 minutes at speed 3,5.

2. Uncover and lower the dough mixture downwards. Add the two eggs, the other half of the flour (150 g), the 15 g of matcha tea and the teaspoon of vanilla extract. We schedule it during 2 minutes to kneading speed.

3. We take the mass out of the glass. If it has been a bit sticky we can add a handful of flour and knead it a little with our hands so that it is incorporated. The idea is that there is a firm and not sticky dough.

4. We spread a little flour on a table and proceed to stretch the dough with the help of a rolling pin. Care must be taken to create a smooth and straight surface, with a thickness of approximately 1 centimeter.

5. With our cutters we are making the shape of the cookies and we are placing them on a tray that can go in the oven.

6. We put it in the middle part of the oven, with heat above and below and at 200°. Let them bake for 10 to 12 minutes. We won't let them brown too long so they stay with that special color.

7. For the decoration we will use the jam so that the sugar decorations stick. With the help of a stick we will spread the tip with the jam and on the biscuit. Then we will place a small sugar decoration. With the passing of the hours it will dry a little more and it will be better united.
