We are going to prepare at home a chocolate cake which could well be a pastry shop. Bring a Genoese sponge cake from which we will get three plates and two very basic chocolate creams.
One of these creams is the traditional truffle, which we will prepare about eight hours before and then we will have to ride. The other cream, the darker one, is simpler and will be ready in a few minutes.
The important thing is to have all the preparations ready in advance so that, at the time of assembling the cake, both the creams and the sponge cake or syrup are cold.
To decorate it you can use wafers, cookies, chocolate chips ... whatever you think the birthday boy will like the most.
