La Butter Today is delicate and original. It does not have potato but we will put oat flakes that will thicken it. You can see everything in the video that you will find at the end of the preparation section.

It is an elaboration that allows you to cook other ingredients in the varoma container. This time we have cooked some zucchini cubes They can be used as an aperitif, as a garnish or even to enrich our cream (as chips). But you can cook carrot cubes, potato cubes or even small broccoli bouquets. The important thing is that they are small pieces to facilitate cooking in those 18 minutes.

Simple carrot cream and oat flakes that we can enrich with zucchini cubes or with another vegetable.

Ingredients

  • 200 g carrots
  • 950 g of vegetable broth
  • 50 g of rolled oats
  • 170 g of diced zucchini
  • 100 g of cottage cheese or ricotta
  • 15 g of butter or extra virgin olive oil
  • The juice of 1 orange

Preparation

  1. We put the carrots peeled and in pieces in the glass. We program 5 seconds, speed 5.

  2. Add the broth, oatmeal and, if necessary, a little salt. 

  3. We put the chopped zucchini in the varoma container. 

  4. We program 18 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 3.

  5. At the end of the time, we remove the varoma from its position and reserve it.

  6. We put the butter or the drizzle of oil, the cottage cheese and the orange juice in the glass. We program 10 seconds, speed 9.

  7. We serve the cream in bowls. The zucchini can be used to enrich our cream (they will be small pieces), as an aperitif if we put it on toast or as a garnish on a second plate.

    With salt, pepper and a splash of salt it is a delight.

Notes

Instead of zucchini we can steam other ingredients such as potato or carrot, as long as they are cut into small cubes.
