It seems that everything is returning to normal. We have had a great few days but… what was given is over. Now it's time to return to routine and real life. Shall we start with a cake?

Today's is from yogurt and cinnamon. It is decorated with powdered sugar that you can make yourself with your Thermomix.

Maybe one of your resolutions for the new year is eat better. If so, I encourage you to make your cakes and cookies at home. And if you have doubts, we are here to help you.

Homemade yogurt cake with cinnamon flavor. Easy to prepare with our Thermomix and perfect for lovers of this spice or condiment.

Ingredients

  • 180 g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g of yogurt
  • 100 g of sunflower oil
  • 250 g flour
  • 16 g Royal type baking yeast
  • Cinnamon powder (between 1 and 3 teaspoons, depending on how intense you want it)
  • Icing sugar to decorate

Preparation

  1. We preheat the oven to 180º.

  2. We put the sugar and eggs in the glass. We program 30 seconds, speed 4.

  3. We add the yogurt and oil. We program 10 seconds, speed 4.

  4. Add the flour, yeast and cinnamon and mix again by programming 40 seconds, speed 4.

  5. We prepare the mold (about 18 cm in diameter) by greasing it with a little butter and flour. We put the mixture in it. Bake at 180º for approximately 40 minutes.

  6. Once the cake is cold we put a little icing sugar on the surface, helping us with a strainer.

    A doubt that always arises; When you say preheat the oven to such a temperature, is it done with heat up and down at the same time or a resistance only?
    It may sound like a silly question, but I'm a newbie at this. Hehehehe

    I just made the bun and it is delicious !!!!!!! I am diabetic and I have made it with whole wheat flour and crystallized agave syrup, it is very tasty.

    I just did it and super fast, as well as delicious. I made it in a plum cake mold and great.
