We are going to prepare a simple cake that the little ones like a lot. We will start from the same mass. When we have it done we will divide it in two. In one part we will add the cinnamon and in the other the cocoa powdered.

Depending on how we alternate the masses in the mold, the drawing will remain in one way or another. Let the children in this point. You will see how they are surprised to see the cut of the cake once it is baked.

A very simple cake that we can prepare with the children.

Two-color cocoa and cinnamon cake

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 125 g of natural yogurt
  • 100 g of sunflower oil
  • 200 g flour
  • 1/2 envelope of royal type baking yeast
  • 15 g of bitter cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Preparation

  1. We put the eggs and sugar in the glass. We program 5 minutes, speed 5.

  2. Add the yogurt and oil. We program 1 minute, speed 3.

  3. Now add the flour and yeast. We program 10 seconds, speed 3.

  4. We put half of the dough in a bowl and add the cinnamon to that half of the dough. We mix well with the rods or with a spoon.

  5. We add the bitter cocoa powder to the mass that has remained in the glass. We mix 10 seconds, speed 3.

  6. We put both doughs in the mold that we will have greased and floured previously, alternating them. I have used a mold about 26 cm in diameter with a hole in the center.

  7. Bake (preheated oven) at 180º g for approximately 40 minutes.
