They are already approaching! If you want to surprise the Three Kings we propose these coffee cookies. They sure love them!

You can do them with the little ones. They will help you delighted and nervous ... and it is no wonder that sweets are not prepared every day for Their Majesties of the East.

By the way, they have no egg, so here you have another recipe that the intolerant to this ingredient.

Very easy and delicious, that's how these coffee cookies are. As they do not have eggs, they are a new sweet for those who are allergic to this ingredient.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of soluble coffee
  • 20 g of coffee made with a coffee pot
  • 160 butter g
  • 120 g of sugar
  • 250 g of pastry flour

Preparation

  1. We dissolve the soluble coffee in the cup with the espresso coffee. We put all the ingredients in the glass, even the coffee. We mix by programming 30 seconds, speed 5.

  2. We take the dough out of the glass, shape it into a cylinder and wrap it in plastic wrap. We let it rest in the refrigerator for approximately two hours.

  3. We preheat the oven to 170º.

  4. With the dough we are making cookies, if we want, giving them the shape of a coffee bean. We are placing them on the baking tray covered with baking paper and we give them a cut in the center (so they will look like the ones in the photo). It is better to make them small and place them separate from each other because with the heat of the oven they expand. We can paint them with a little milk so that they have some shine or with egg if there are no intolerant to this ingredient.

  5. We bake for approximately 15 minutes.

  6. When we take them out of the oven we let them cool completely since they are very fragile when hot.

      Try making small mountains (tiny and tall) because then the dough expands with the heat.

    Hello, I would like to know if it is necessary to use soluble coffee or if I can use only coffee from a coffee maker. I do not use the soluble and buy a bottle not to use. Thanksssss

      Hi Loli,
      Don't buy soluble coffee just for making this recipe. Only use the 20 g of coffee made with a coffee maker, but make sure it is well loaded 😉 that way it will have more flavor.
      Remember to put the dough in small mountains to avoid that when baking the cookies they are too flat.

    I made them yesterday to give as gifts and they came out great although a little chatitas but I was like a queen. This weekend I'm going to do them but for me and see if I get more swollen. Thanks for sharing
