In making a full menu at Thermomix we can take a little more than half an hour. The proof is in the video, approximately three minutes long, that we have prepared for you.

We are going to make a rich vegetables cream while we steam both the chicken and the vegetables that will be our garnish. What I like the most is how we transform that simple steamed chicken into a delicious plate of meat with mustard sauce. Do not stop watching the video because I am sure that you are going to love the idea.

Ingredients

  • 400 g of chicken breast in pieces
  • 300 g of potatoes (weight once peeled)
  • 200 g of cauliflower in small florets
  • 120 g of carrots for the garnish and 80 g for the cream
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 110 g leek in pieces
  • 20 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 100 g of zucchini in pieces
  • 15 g of celery
  • 300 g of meat or vegetable broth
  • 15 butter g
  • 30 g of liquid cream
  • 20g Dijon mustard
  • A little ground pepper

Preparation

  1. We put the chicken in the varoma container. In the varoma tray we put the potatoes, carrots and cauliflower. We place the lid and reserve.

  2. We put the garlic, the leek and the oil in the glass. We program 3 seconds, speed 5. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass. We program 3 minutes, 120 °, speed 1.

  3. We add the 80 grams of carrot that we will use for the cream, the zucchini in pieces and the celery. We program 5 seconds, speed 5.

  4. We incorporate the broth. We put the varoma in its position and program 25 minutes, varoma temperature, spoon speed.

  5. At the end of the time, we remove the varoma from its position and reserve it.

  6. To the ingredients that we already have in the glass we add 50 g of the potato that we have just steamed. We program 30 seconds, progressive speed 5-10. We take out the cream and reserve it.

  7. We put 80 g of that same cream in the glass. Add the butter, cream, mustard and a little ground pepper. We program 2 minutes, 100 °, speed 2.

  8. Now add the chicken and program 30 seconds, left turn, speed 1.

  9. And we already have our complete menu ready: vegetable cream and mustard chicken with garnish.

Notes

You can chop the carrots that will be our garnish, giving them the shape of a baby carrot. The bits that are left over will be perfect for making the vegetable cream.
