Cottage cheese cake or tart, as you prefer to call it. I have done it with ricotta but, if you can't find it, you can substitute it for cottage cheese. You will see it has a very smooth texture and flavor that is phenomenal with Chocolate chips.

And don't forget to put on the surface your jam Favorite once the cake is out of the oven and after it has been allowed to cool.

A simple cake (or cake), with chocolate chips inside and jam on the surface.

Ingredients

100 g of sugar
50 g butter at room temperature
3 eggs
200 g of ricotta or cottage cheese
250 pastry flour
1/2 envelope of yeast type Royal (about 8 g)
The grated skin of half a lemon
40 g of chocolate chips
Jam for the surface

Preparation

We start the recipe by grating the lemon skin (only the yellow part). We put it in the glass and crush it for a few seconds. We take out and reserve.
We fit the butterfly on the blades. We put the sugar and butter and mix 30 seconds, speed 3. We lower with the spatula whatever is on the walls and program 10 more seconds at the same speed.
With the machine on speed 3 1/2 We add the eggs through the mouth, one by one. We keep mixing for 30 seconds, speed 3 1/2.
We remove the butterfly. Add the ricotta, flour, yeast and grated lemon peel. We program 30 seconds speed 4. We check that everything is integrated and, if we see that it is not, we mix a few more seconds.
Add the chocolate and mix with the spatula.
We put the mixture in a mold. Mine is round, 23 cm in diameter.
Bake at 180º for approximately 20 minutes (it will be cooked when introducing a skewer stick it comes out clean).

Notes

I have made it with ricotta and the texture of the dough, before baking, is quite compact. I don't know what the result will be with the cottage cheese but if you see that it is too compact you can lighten it with a little milk.[br]It can be stored in the refrigerator.
