We continue to publish videos and recipes in order to give you new ideas for meals these days. In the YouTube community you have suggested that we prepare a video recipe with cous cous as the main ingredient, and here we have it.

Carries green peas, dried tomatoes, some spinach leaves ... But the idea is that you can substitute the ingredients that you don't have at home with others. For example, you can substitute mozzarella for a soft cheese cut into cubes, olives for capers ...

Ingredients

  • 1/4 onion
  • 40 g of dried tomatoes in oil
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 250 g frozen peas
  • 320 g of water (70 g and 250 g)
  • A little bit of salt
  • 250 g of precooked couscous
  • 120 g de mozzarella
  • 40 g of fresh spinach
  • 40 g of green olives

Preparation

  1. We put the onion and dried tomatoes in the glass. We program 5 seconds, speed 7. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass.

  2. Add a drizzle of oil (it can be from the tomatoes themselves in oil) and program 3 minutes, 120 °, speed 1.

  3. Add the peas, 70 g of water and a little salt. We program 15 minutes, 100, left turn, spoon speed.

  4. We put the peas in a large bowl. We reserve them.

  5. Without washing the glass, add the remaining 250 g of water and a pinch of salt. We program 5 minutes, 100 °, speed 1.

  6. Now we put the couscous in the glass and mix immediately. We put the lid on and let it rest for 5 minutes, stirring from time to time with the spatula.

  7. After that time we put the couscous in the bowl where we have the peas.

  8. Add the olives and fresh spinach leaves. We mix well.

  9. Add the diced mozzarella, mix and we have it ready.

Notes

Spinach can be substituted for lettuce, cabbage or any other vegetable.
