Today's cream will delight you if you like cheese. Also has leek and apple. In a first step we will cook these two ingredients in the varoma and then sauté them in the glass.

In the video you can see all the steps to follow to make this original dish. I propose it as incoming, serving small amounts in small bowls. Once cold it is also very good on a good bread toasted. 

Look out for the girl who appears in the first minutes of video. She is not yet five years old and she is passionate about intense flavors.

With an intense flavor, it is the perfect starter for cheese lovers. It has blue cheese, Parmesan, leek and apple.

Ingredients

  • 50 g Parmesan
  • 500 g of water
  • 230 g chopped leek
  • 100 g of peeled and diced apple
  • 30 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 100 g of blue cheese
  • 40g milk
  • A little bit of salt
  • A little pepper
  • A few leaves of basil (optional)

Preparation

  1. We put the Parmesan in the glass. We grate it in speed 10. We take it out of the glass and reserve it.

  2. We pour the water into the glass. We put the apple in the varoma container and the chopped leek in the varoma tray. We place the varoma in its position, with the lid on and program 10 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 1.

  3. At the end of the time, we remove the varoma from its position and reserve it.

  4. We remove the water that is in the glass, wash it and dry it.

  5. We put the olive oil in the glass. Also the leek and apple that we just cooked. We program 5 minutes, 100º, left turn, spoon speed.

  6. We put half of the mixture on a plate. We add a little salt and pepper and reserve.

  7. Add the blue cheese, grated Parmesan and milk to the leek and apple that we have in the glass. We program 5 minutes, 80º, speed 1.

  8. We add a little salt and also pepper. We program again 5 minutes, 80º, speed 1.

  9. We serve the cream cheese and leeks with the bits of leek and apple that we have reserved. Decorate with some basil leaves.
