Some spectacular strawberry flavored muffins. They are decorated with a very special strawberry-flavored buttercream. With this recipe we will learn to calmly make a delicious cream that in many places we know as the famous frosting.
This delicious and creative dessert was invented a whopping two centuries ago. Its purpose was to make a small cake in a small cup to be consumed individually. This idea caught on dramatically in the XNUMXst century.
And we can only say that a butter cream how we can get to make it in a simple way and with a spectacular result. You just have to be patient and do it little by little.

Ingredients
For the muffins
- 225g of wheat flour
- 180g sugar
- 150g butter, soft or at room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 1 strawberry yogurt
- 1 tablespoon and a half baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the cream
- 800g of sugar (we will make it powder with the Thermomix)
- 500g butter
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 medium strawberries
For decoration
- 6 strawberries, halved
Preparation
We heat the oven to 200 °. We will make the cupcakes first. We are going to pulverize the dry ingredients. In our Thermomix glass we add the 225g of wheat flour, the 180g of sugar and the teaspoon and a half of baking powder. We schedule it during 10 seconds at speed 10. We take it out of the glass and set it aside.
In the same uncleaned glass, add the 150g of soft or room temperature butter, the two eggs, the strawberry yogurt and the teaspoon of vanilla extract. We beat it all by programming during 30 seconds at speed 4.
We are going to add the dry ingredients. First you have to add half of what we had set aside and mix it by programming 30 seconds at speed 4. We will do it so that the mixture is made much better and more easily. We add the other half of the dry ingredients and mix again by programming 30 seconds at speed 4.
We prepare the capsules of the muffins so that they can go into the oven (about 12). It is better to place them on a special tray to hold the capsules. We add the whipped mixture that we have prepared inside. It is important not to fill them all but one third. We bake it for 10 minutes.
We make the frosting or the buttercream. This cream contains butter and in order to maintain its volume it must have a high proportion of sugar. We have to pulverize the sugar. We pour half the sugar into our clean glass and program it for 40 seconds at speed 10. We put aside what we have pulverized and add the other half of the sugar, reprogramming 40 seconds at speed 10. We put it aside.
In the uncleaned glass we add the 8 medium strawberries. We are going to puree them by programming 30 seconds at speed 6. We put the puree aside and clean the glass. We add the 500g of butter and we are going to beat it by programming 1 minute at speed 4,5. We note that it has been well beaten.
So that we get a perfect and well-beaten mixture, we are going to add the ingredients little by little. In the butter cream we are going to add a third of the powdered sugar that we had set aside. We are going to beat it by programming during 1 minute at speed 4,5.
Add half of the strawberry puree and the second third of the powdered sugar. We are going to continue beating it by programming 1 minute at speed 4,5. We can see that the mixture has not been done well at all, but we can give it a little help by giving it a few turns by hand with the help of some kind of spoon. We close the lid and beat again, programming 1 minute at speed 4,5.
In my case it was not beaten perfectly again. so I went back to give it a couple of turns manually. We add the two teaspoons of vanilla extract, the other half of the strawberry puree and the third of the remaining sugar. We beat it by programming 1 minute at speed 4,5. Before covering we give it a couple of turns with the hand. We cover and beat, programming again 1 minute at speed 4,5. If you notice that it has not been well beaten, you again help the mixture manually. We reschedule during 1 minute at speed 4,5. This view has had to be well beaten, if it is not the case, reprogram another little.
With the muffins made and cooled, we are going to decorate them. We place our cream inside a pastry bag with a wide and curly nozzle. We decorate the muffins and to finish decorating them we place half a strawberry on top of the cream.
