Today it is very hard for me to write this entry. And I would not know how to express to you the feelings I have right now.

I have made a difficult decision, today is my last post. It is a very thoughtful decision, and not an easy one. It has been a few months full of good moments, being here presenting what is cooked in my kitchen, and knowing that you are there every day.

But everything is a cycle, and I think mine for the moment, in this wonderful blog, has to take a break. It is not easy to reconcile work, family life, problems, etc. and try to avoid being noticed when you write a recipe. This blog is followed by more than 13.000 people, and has reached a very high level. And I need another kind of rhythm.

I will continue to be here, I will continue reading to you, and I will continue making the recipes for my wonderful companions, Irene and Mayra, and for those who come later. I hope you are there supporting them. And I hope one day to be here with you again. Since here I have learned a lot. So it's not a see you forever, it's a see you later.

Usually my recipes are desserts, cakes, etc. Today I say goodbye with a salty dish. A typical dish from my land, Andalusia.

The good weather is coming, and with it you already want to eat light, fresh things, and to take advantage of the fact that now are the longest afternoons, well prepared in advance to enjoy the outdoors more.

"Las papa aliña" seasoned potatoes is very typical of Andalusia, and I think it is already widespread throughout the Spanish geography.

At home my hubby would bring me down the street of bitterness, that if the potatoes have come out hard, that if they are soft, it was wrong. Until I found this way of steam them in the varoma.

It is very simple, and at the same time you cook the potatoes, you make the eggs, and then while they cool, we make the dressing. We prepare it in the morning while we do other things, and at night, the Dinner. At home we have it for dinner as a single dish, if we are a little hungry, we pick up some cold cuts or "fried fish" ...
