Plum biscuit

dessert recipe thermomix plum biscuit

This dessert caught my attention as soon as I saw it. I had plums a stew that I had previously made and I thought it was the best way to spend it.

When I read the ingredients and saw that the plums were soaked in brandy, I doubted if we would like it. However, I really liked this biscuit.

I took it almost frozen, as it was falling apart and reminded me of the ice creams that my father drank rum with raisins, when I was little and let me try a little saying: "Girls take this when they are older" and I, with the sweet tooth and a refrigerator that I am, could not resist and I did not leave his side until it was finished.

It is not a recommended dessert for children but if you want to make one non-alcoholic version you just have to soak the plums in apple juice.

This recipe requires about 4 hours in the freezer. I did One day to another, I took it out half an hour before consuming and garnished it with melted fondant chocolate and some raspberries and blackberries.

Silvia, how good it looks, could you tell me if I don't add plums, with what other ingredient would it look good? is that at home they do not like prunes very much, thank you very much, a kiss

I have not tried with another ingredient but it would be with something similar like raisins or dried apricots. My family is not a lot of plums and they still liked it.

I am very glad that you will like it. It is a recipe that people are not very encouraged to make, I think because of the plum and the alcohol, but I loved it.
      All the best

    Hello Montsearnau,
Salmonella is not very resistant to temperature changes, so 70º is enough to prevent salmonellosis.
Thanks to you for following us, for making our recipes, and for telling us about it !! Hope you like this biscuit.
