Some incredible donuts made with our Thermomix, and I rate them incredible because they are very juicy and with an impeccable flavor. I encourage anyone who has never made donuts to make them, they are easy to do, following the steps given below and their demonstration video. In addition, it must be added that the original flavor that it has is due to its touch of cream cheese and cream. And do not forget that it has a lemon-flavored glaze that will give this recipe a sweeter touch.
Donuts with blueberries and lemon glaze
Delicious donuts made with cheese and a touch of blueberries. They are donuts that must be cooked in oil and once cold we will cover them with a delicious glaze with a lemon flavor.

Ingredients
Donuts
- 450g of flour + 50g more
- 2 eggs
- 150g sugar
- 200g spread cheese
- 1 sachet of backing powder
- the zest of a lemon
- 50g cream
Glazed
- 240g icing sugar
- 80g lemon juice
Other ingredients
- sunflower oil for frying
- 150g blueberries
Preparation
In the glass of our Thermomix we add the flour and sugar. We put the lid on and program it 30 seconds at speed 1.
We continue adding the rest of the ingredients, add the cream cheese, the cream, the eggs, the yeast and the lemon zest. We schedule everything during 30 seconds at speed 4. We must calculate the result, if the dough is somewhat sticky we add another 50g of flour. We program it to 30 seconds at speed 7.
On a floured surface we turn the dough and knead it with our hands so that it takes a little shape, we let it soak in a little flour on the surface of said dough so that it is not sticky when working with it. We make a hole in the central part and introduce the blueberries, close the hole, knead and mix carefully with our hands so that they do not get crushed.
We roll out the dough on the surface with a rolling pin, leaving a thickness of 1 to 2 cm. With the help of a round pasta cutter we make the donuts. We will use our fingers to make the central hole of the donut.
We prepare the sunflower oil in a pan to fry and when it is hot, we add the donuts so that they fry. It is not advisable to fry them at maximum power, as they may appear to be golden and finished but in reality they have been able to remain raw. So it is best to put the heat medium high and so your result will be correct.
We let the donuts cool and we are making the glaze. In our clean Thermomix glass we will add the icing sugar and the lemon juice. If we can't get this type of sugar, we can always make it with our robot. We add the icing sugar and we program it 10 to 20 seconds at full power and then the juice. To make the glaze we program it during 30 seconds at speed 2, and we will have it ready.
All that remains is to decorate the donuts. If once the glaze dries you think it is not enough, you can add another layer.
Another important note that I want to add is that the glaze can also be made with milk to make it much whiter. It would be to use the same amount, that is, about 240g of sugar for 80g of whole milk, yes, to give it a touch of lemon flavor we will add a few drops of lemon essence. The truth is that this glaze is also spectacular.
