Chocolate and mascarpone truffles

Easy recipe thermomix Chocolate truffles and mascarpone

These chocolate mascarpone truffles come out very soft and not cloying at all. They are battered with different ingredients, so they are more colorful and fun. For me, the best ones are those with coconut, although with my sweet tooth, they all seemed super good.

I prepare them for special occasions like Christmas or for Mother's or Father's Day and, the truth is, there are usually not one left. They can also be made in advance and frozen, which makes it much easier for me to organize the meal or the evening.

The children also loved them because I made them a consignment that they carry alcohol-free liquor. The truth is that you hardly notice the difference and it is the ideal solution for the little ones in the house and also for abstemious adults or those who do not like alcohol.

Hello Chari, it is a creamy cheese from Italy very similar to Philadelphia cheese. It is used for desserts or cakes. All the best.

Pepa, I make the truffle by whipping cream and adding a few tablespoons of cocoa powder until it is to my liking. For the girls, I don't add liquor. I hope you like it. All the best.

Hello and thank you for your blog. I would like to know when you say that you melt the chocolate in the microwave, do you add some milk? At what temperature and time do you do it? Do you use Nestle's chocolate desserts or do you recommend another? _; Ah! And For having an idea, how many truffles come out? Thank you very much.

Elena I made this recipe to give to my mom for Mother's Day and I don't remember exactly how many came out but at least 30 units or more.
When I melt the chocolate in the microwave, I usually put it at the lowest temperature for a minute and I'm looking to see if it needs to be put in a little more, without adding milk, and I use Nestle's or Mercadona's chocolate for desserts.

Hello, I would like to make these truffles but my question is that if I freeze them, how long will they last in the freezer and how far in advance would I have to remove them to eat them. Thanks for your recipes.

    1.    Irene Arcas said

Cristina take them out 4 hours before the freezer and put them in the fridge. Delicious! Frozen they last about 3 months quietly.

Hi, I want to make the truffles and I don't have mascarpone cheese now. Is it possible to substitute it for Philadelphia cheese?

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

      Hi Maite,
Better not ... it has nothing to do with each other and Philadelphia cheese will give a different flavor to truffles ...
      A hug!
