Quick pecan ice cream

Easy Thermomix Recipe Quick walnut ice cream

This quick pecan ice cream is amazing. It takes longer to decide to do it than to prepare it, you just have to have the milk frozen in some ice buckets and when you feel like it, in just 3 minutes we have a super creamy ice cream.

I have done it with nuts but it can be done with any other dried fruit as hazelnuts or almonds. Of course, as it is prepared, it must be served, so as not to lose that creaminess.

There is also a thousand ways to decorate it. I have chosen to use pieces of split walnuts and a cookie, although it can also be decorated with liquid caramel syrup on top.

This ice cream is suitable for celiac and egg intolerant. And, if we have a guest who is diabetic, we can substitute granulated sweetener for sugar.

If you want to adapt it to be suitable for lactose intolerant You just have to change the milk for soy drink.

This sounds but great…. I'm going to do it. Do you think it could be made with cream instead of milk? rose

    1.    Silvia said

Rosa I don't know very well what kind of cream you mean. But the frozen milk gives it a really good creaminess.

    Hello
    look I'm a little plof
Well, yesterday at Christmas I made the walnut ice cream and I did as I put in the recipe
and the milk cubes were not crushed some were whole I don't know what happened because the flavor was great
    all the best

    1.    Silvia said

Hi Conchi, maybe the ice formed by the milk cubes was too dry and it took a while for the blades to crush it. Because I imagine you had them in the ice buckets and the cubes were loose when you put them in the thermomix, right? because if they were made a block it costs to crush them. Again, try the ice cream in the thermomix and if you lack a little, put another 30 seconds to crush them or until you see them well.
      Greetings and Happy 2011 !!

Hello Silvia, those plastic albal were diced
        but the flavor was delicious
And another question is there to give him with the palette?
Well, because if I make a lot of ice creams, I'll run out of ice
He is very aggressive and takes it on.
        Greetings and Happy 2011

One question? Is it worth making it with invert sugar ?? where are the envelopes bought ??? thanks…

    1.    Silvia said

The envelopes to make invert sugar are bought in Mercadona and this sugar helps so that the ice creams do not crystallize when frozen and have a creamy texture.

  9.   Maria del Mar said

Elena, excuse me but I don't understand how I have to do the spatula, it fits because of the vowel, in that part I get lost, you will think that I am clumsy, but as much as I think about it… ..I have dinner this weekend and I would like to , Thank you.

  10.   Ana said

Could it be made with skim milk?
    Thank you. Ana

    1.    Silvia said

Ana, I have not tried but I imagine that there is no problem, it will surely come out very rich.

Hi! I have made this ice cream and it is super creamy again thanks!

by the way when eating it I have craved nougat ice cream that I love, I looked for the recipe and it has evaporated milk, I had never heard that, do you know what it is and where can I buy it?

Thanks again for the recipes and for always answering our questions.

    1.    Silvia said

Evaporated milk is milk that takes part of the water out of it and is sold in cans, close to condemned milk. I buy it from the "ideal" brand.

Delicious !!! 😀 .. I have prepared it today for dessert, and it has been a success.
I will be trying other ice creams that you have around here, but if you can add some more better than better than with these heats it is what you most want and so we can vary. Thank you very much for your help!

    1.    Silvia said

Count on it because we love ice cream and sorbets, so with the heat you can not miss recipes of this type. I'm glad you liked this nutty one.

  13.   Pains said

Hello, I made the ice cream yesterday, the texture was great but it got bitter as you were eating it, I don't know

    1.    Silvia said

It's because of the nuts, maybe they were bitter and if you had eaten them without ice cream they would have made you bitter just the same. Try again with another dried fruit, even like hazelnuts, because it is delicious.

  14.   Pains said

What could have happened, if you come up with a trick, you will tell me, thank you

  15.   Pains said

ok great, I will try with hazelnuts that are also delicious, thanks

I have had the thermomix for a few days and I found your page and I love it !! Suddenly I have become the cook of the house ...

One question says that it has to be icing sugar. The sugar when you put it with the nuts is normal and after passing it through the thermomix it is already glass or it must be done separately. If so, how is it to be done?

    Thank you.

    1.    Silvia said

To make icing sugar, pour the sugar into the glass and blend for 20 seconds, progressive speed 5-10

      1.    andreapm said

        Thank you!!

I did it like this and it turned out very good. The leftover I freeze it again and the day we want to drink it I take it out 1/2 hour before, I stir it and everything is perfect!

    Hello,

Congratulations on the website! I would like to know if this ice cream could be made with some vegetable milk? Possibly with the rice it would also be very rich and it can be done at home with the Thermomix. What do you think? Thanks.

    1.    Silvia said

It would be delicious for sure. You will tell us how such.

  18.   Toñi said

Hello everyone, a question, how do I freeze milk? Is there an ice bucket with a lid or how can I freeze it? Thank you.

    1.    Irene Thermorecetas said

Hello Toñi, it is frozen in the normal ice buckets, the milk ones. And when you have it frozen, you can put the cubes in some freezer bags. Lucky!

      1.    Toñi said

Thank you very much I will try it

    Hi, Tony,
Although I have not used invert sugar in this recipe, I think I can answer your question. Put 30 g of invert sugar and 70 g of icing sugar. As for the timing, when you add the sugar. You will tell me the result (you should have an even creamier ice cream).
    Kisses!
