Skimmed milk cake

skimmed milk cake recipe

This cake is one of those recipes that I made a long time ago and today it has returned to my memory leafing through the book "Take care of your health with thermomix". This book is one of my favorites and I can tell you that I have almost all of them, but this one in particular I have gotten a lot out of it. Their recipes are ideal, almost all of them very healthy and always with a nutritional comment, which in many moments it is great to consult it. (I assure you that I do not take commission, heh, heh ...)

This cake is very similar to lifetime cakeJust change the yogurt for skim milk. It is very soft and my girls loved it. Now I think I'm going to try it with "lactose-free" milk, because every day they tell me better about it and I want to do the test and thus be able to recommend it to lactose intolerant.

I would like to make nougat, but I don't know how.

It could be the one with marzipan and another with chocolate and hazelnuts.

    Thank you

Hello. I really want to make cupcakes but I have never dared. I have two very silly questions: When does the cake go into the oven, does the gratin part light up or just the bottom part? And if I use a silicone mold, is it necessary to spread it with butter? Thank you. Once you clarify these doubts, I will start with this cake that seems very easy.

One last question. For the thermomix 21. I guess the times and speeds are the same. Thanks again.

I have a problem with my oven, I put on the grill and the bottom part burns and if not, it does not turn up well. Anyway, I am not very good at baking, and look, I have tried, that I You recommend that you go to a pastry course, no, a kiss. Or that, or that you change the oven, a greeting.

Hello M. Carmen, hahaha, the two options would be very good, but not because you don't do it well… but because of experience…. you meet people and learn many things ... I would like to attend one of them ...
I also have a terrible time with my oven, it's a matter of getting the hang of it….

    Hello everybody.
I'd like to solve a problem I've always had with biscuits: they go up great, but the moment I turn off the heat or take them out of the oven they “flop” down.
I have already tried all the tips, such as only lower heat, less yeast, put the turbo, let it rest in the oven until it cools, there is no way !!! They are still not beautiful, although very rich, of course, especially with your wonderful recipes and this super machine that makes life so easy for us.
I wait for answers, thanks for your help.

Hello Marta, the truth is that I do not know where the fault may be, the only thing I can think of will be the mold that does not let the cake cook? have you always done it in the same mold?

        Hello Virtues
Thanks for the suggestion, but the truth is that I have: metal crown molds; silicone molds for plumcakes, round, rectangular; Pyrex molds of different sizes and shapes.
I keep and keep trying, trying all and different recipes. Luckily I have a very grateful family who even eats stones as long as they have sugar !!!
When I do not want to fail because I have guests or I am a guest, I opt for desserts without an oven, such as the three chocolates cake or the rice pudding.
By the way, I made the last one on Friday to take home to some friends on Saturday. Once curdled, instead of sprinkling with cinnamon, I prepared a jelly to which I added a lot of cinnamon. I put it on the surface of the cake and let it set in the fridge (I do not use gelatin sheets or powders but seaweed, but to taste of each one).
        It was very original.
        A hug

Hi, maybe you can't help me because you say you're leaving temporarily (I'll personally miss you) but I'm going to ask you some questions about this cake. I've done it 2 times and it has been a failure, the 1st time I didn't know, I put saccharin on it. Liquid I put 3 teaspoons on it, I had to throw it away, the 2nd I put 50g spartame on it and instead of lemon I put nougat cream that I had this Christmas, and I'm still insipid and I don't know what to do with it, I'll surely throw it away , the dough when I move it comes out very thick. if someone helps me a greeting and see you soon

Thanks for your time and your recipes Silvia .. A suggestion if you don't mind; When you put one of those delicious cakes that you make, we could use it very well if you put the measure of the mold, sometimes it is difficult to get it right, hehe… Thanks.

    1.    Irene Thermorecetas said

Hello Dely, we take good note of your request and from now on we will put it. Many times the shape of the molds varies greatly. Perhaps you should be guided by the capacity of the mold, that is, look at the signs of the thermomix glass (0.5, 1, 1.5, or 2 liters) and depending on the amount of dough you have, choose a mold that is double. Thanks for following us!
