Fresh peas with natural tomato

The other day i bought fresh peas, of those who go in sheath. The children had a lot of fun shelling them, I like them to learn where each vegetable comes from. The best thing is, when they help me in the kitchen, then they eat it all. And of course, between shelling and stewing, these peas were a bargain. Not one was left. They were very very good. We made theirs with water. Ours, with cognac. Rich, rich. I give you the recipe for adults, but if you do it for childrenIt is enough to substitute the cognac for the same amount of water; the rest, all the same.

Fresh peas, pods, stewed with natural tomato and onion. Excellent as a garnish.

Ingredients

• 120 g of natural tomato (1 tomato)
• 75 g onion (half an onion)
• 25 ml oil
• 60 g of peas (heavy and shelled), with the pod will be about 100 g.
• a teaspoon of honey
• 50 ml (half a glass) of brandy or cognac
• salt to taste

Preparation

1. We put the onion, tomato and oil in the glass. We chop during 5 seconds at speed 5.

2. Add the honey, salt and shelled peas (in that order and poured with the glass open, if you do it through the mouth, the honey will remain on the blade). We program 12 minutes, Varoma temperature, spoon speed, left turn. With beaker.

3. We add the brandy and continue others 12 minutes, Varoma temperature, spoon speed, counterclockwise. With beaker.

4. We try and if they are already tender (it depends on how tender the peas are) we can serve them.

5. If they are a bit hard, add 25 ml of water and continue 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, spoon speed, counterclockwise. With beaker.

Notes

You can replace the cognac with white wine. If it is for children, it must be replaced with water. [br]If you want to make more, you can double the quantities, maintaining times, temperatures and speeds.
