Our table of Halloween it is already taking shape. I bring you today these rice balls, salty, orange because they carry carrot and the shape of the typical Jack pumpkin. They are funny, right?

They can be taken hot or cold and will perfectly accompany the spider eggs or butter and chocolate cookies on the menu that we are going to prepare these days for the terrifying Halloween.

Rice balls, salty, orange because they have carrots and the shape of the typical Halloween pumpkin.

Ingredients

75 g carrot
400 g of water
1 vegetable stock cube
100 g of rice
1 teaspoon of salt
Pitted black olives (around 20 olives)
1 piece of green pepper or zucchini to decorate

Preparation

Put the carrots, peeled and cut into large pieces, in the glass. Shred for 10 seconds at speed 5.
Add 400 g of water and blend for 40 seconds at progressive speed 5/10.
Add the stock cube and salt. Boil for 9 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.
Add the rice and cook for 20 minutes, 100º, spoon speed, left turn.
Let the rice cool.
Form the balls with the cold rice. With the black olives we will make the eyes and the mouth. The zucchini or green pepper will form the tail of the squash.

Notes

If you serve it hot, you can heat them in the microwave once decorated.
