If you have not been able to make a roscón due to lack of time or ingredients, today we propose some cupcakes inspired by that sweet Traditional.

Among its ingredients is orange blossom water (hence the flavor is reminiscent of roscón) and on the surface we are going to put moistened sugar, almonds and also candied fruit. You have it all in the video.

Needless to say, they cannot replace a good roscón... but, in case of need, they are a good alternative.

An easy recipe that reminds us of the traditional roscón de reyes

Ingredients

  • 170 butter g
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 220 g of pastry flour
  • 1 sachet of backing powder
  • 15 g of orange blossom water (2 tablespoons)
  • The grated skin of 1 lemon and half an orange
  • 40 g of candied fruit
  • Chopped or sliced ​​almonds
  • A little sugar with a few drops of juice

Preparation

  1. We put the butter in the glass. We program 3 minutes, 90º, speed 2.

  2. Add the sugar, the eggs, the flour, the yeast, the orange blossom water and the citrus zest. We program 3 seconds, speed 5.

  3. We put the dough in the molds, without filling them completely. We put on the surface a little sugar moistened with a few drops of juice. Also chopped almonds and candied fruit.

  4. Bake at 200º for 14 or 15 minutes, until golden brown.

  5. We make another batch until we use up all the dough.
