Two flavors that combine perfectly: mint and chocolate. And all in one simple plum cake which is terrific.
It is a bicolor sponge cake with two flavors: mint we get it with him syrup that we did a few days ago; the one of chocolate, with cocoa powder.

And if you want to make it even more striking, you can add a few drops of green food coloring to the mint mass, to the clearest.

A two-color sponge cake with two flavors: mint (thanks to a homemade syrup) and chocolate. Easy to prepare and ideal for mint lovers.

Ingredients

3 eggs
250 g flour
150 g of sugar
150 g of melted butter
1/2 envelope of yeast
55 g of bitter cocoa powder
60g milk
70 g mint syrup

Preparation

We put the eggs in the glass together with the sugar. We program 2 minutes, speed 5.
Add the melted butter and mix 15 seconds, speed 3.
Add the flour and yeast and mix again, programming 15 seconds, speed 3.
We remove half of the mass obtained from the glass. To the one left in the glass we add the mint syrup. We mix 10 seconds, speed 4. We take out and reserve.
We put the other half of the dough, the cocoa and the milk in the glass. We mix 10 seconds, speed 4.
We put both doughs in the plum cake mold and, if we want, we mix lightly to get the marbling.
Bake at 180º for approximately 35-45 minutes (the time will depend on the size of the mold used)

Notes

If you want to get an even more striking plum cake, you can put a few drops of green food coloring in the mint-flavored dough.
