Ok these monster cookies They are a bit ugly, I know ... but on Halloween everything is allowed.

The best thing is the fun time you will have while doing them, especially if the children. Oh, and they are delicious.

They are almond cookies that recall the flavor of the traditional sweets of the day of All Saints. So if you don't celebrate Halloween or if you do not have children at home, do them anyway (without decorating) that you are going to enjoy them. Ingredients

For the cookie dough

  • 130 g flour
  • 100 g of toasted skinless almonds
  • 80 g of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 20 ml rum
  • 25 g butter at room temperature

For decoration:

  • 200 g of fonding chocolate
  • Almonds
  • A few drops of chocolate for desserts

Preparation

  1. We crush the almonds in progressive speed 7-10. With a few seconds It will be enough.

  2. We incorporate the rest of the ingredients and mix 15 seconds, speed 4.

  3. We make balls of approximately 20 g each, put them on a baking tray covered with baking paper, and flatten them slightly with the palm of the hand.

  4. Bake at 180º for approximately 15 minutes.

  5. When they are baked let them cool on the baking tray itself. Once cold we decorate them.

  6. We melt the chocolate in the microwave, at a low temperature. We chop the almonds that will be the teeth. With a spoon we put chocolate in the base of two cookies and almonds vertically in one of the parts to simulate the teeth. When the chocolate dries they will stick together.

  7. We also use the melted chocolate to glue the drops of chocolate that will be the eyes.
