This is my recipe star cookies, some basic oil biscuits that children like a lot.

Don't be surprised if, after the spike speed, a compact mass does not come out. Actually, we get as a result little crumbs of dough, like sand. We will take care of forming a compact mass, with our hands. I put it all in the preparation section.

you can prepare them with the shape and size you want. Thus, in the form of small stars, about 100 units come out and require preparation time... but, if you don't want to complicate yourself, you can cut them with a larger round mold. Another option is to make cuts in the extended dough, with a knife or a roulette wheel, as we did with the classic cookies.

Ingredients

  • 110 g of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 400 g of wheat flour
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • 40 g of sunflower oil
  • 80 g olive oil
  • The grated skin of an organic lemon

Preparation

  1. We put the sugar in the glass and program 10 seconds, speed 10. We wait a few minutes before opening the glass again.

  2. We add the rest of the ingredients and program 1 minute, spike speed.

  3. Stir with the spatula, taking off what remains at the base of the glass.

  4. We schedule now 30 seconds, spike speed.

  5. We put our dough on the counter. It will not be a compact mass but it will look like sand... We have to compact it with our hands.

  6. We can divide it into 4 portions and that way it will be easier for us to work with it.

  7. We put one of those portions, compacted, on a sheet of baking paper. We cover with another sheet of paper and stretch it with a roller. We will stretch it until it has a thickness of approximately half a centimeter.

  8. With a small star-shaped cookie cutter, we are cutting our cookies. The dough that is left over from the cuts can be compacted again and stretched with the roller to continue making cookies.

  9. We are placing these cookies on a baking tray covered with baking paper.

  10. We proceed in the same way with the rest of the dough portions.

  11. Bake at 180º (preheated oven) for approximately 15 minutes. Here it is better that we control the time and that we take out the cookies when we see that they begin to brown.
