It is lemon flavored and it is perfect for when we want to prepare a sweet for many people. Today we can obtain more than 20 small portions of the cake, all with their cream. On the web they call it «Nua» and we have made our version.

In Thermomix we will do the custard cream to the aroma of lemon and also the mass of the sponge cake. The best thing is that we be precise when placing the tablespoons of cream. So then it will be very easy to prepare the portions.

I have put chopped chocolate on the surface but it is not essential. Instead you can sprinkle a little icing sugar, although you will have to wait for it to cool to add it.

Ingredients

For the cream:

  • The skin of 1 organic lemon (only the yellow part)
  • 80 g of sugar
  • 400g milk
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g flour

For the cake batter:

  • 300 g flour
  • 180 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 110 g of sunflower oil
  • 120g milk
  • 1 envelope of Royal type yeast
  • The grated skin of 1 lemon (only the yellow part)

Plus:

  • Grated chocolate for the surface

Preparation

  1. To flavor the milk we put it in the glass next to the  lemon peel and sugar. We program 15 minutes, 50º, speed 1. Let cool and remove the lemon skin (straining the milk and putting it back in the glass if necessary).

  2. We incorporate the egg and the flour. We program 8 minutes, 90º, speed 4.

  3. We put the cream in a small bowl, cover it with film and reserve it.

  4. We wash and dry the glass.

  5. We put in it the sugar and the skin of 1 lemon. We program 15 seconds, speed 9.

  6. We add the milk, the egg and the oil. We program 20 seconds, speed 4.

  7. Now we add the flour and yeast. We program 10 seconds, speed 6.

  8. Line a square mold of approximately 30 x 27 centimeters with baking paper. We put our sponge cake dough in the mold.

  9. With a couple of teaspoons we place the cream on the cake batter. If we do it with an order, then it will help us to chop the cake and homogeneous portions.

  10. Bake at 170º (preheated oven) for 50 or 60 minutes. If we want to put chocolate on the surface, as seen in the photo, we put it on the surface of the cake 10 minutes before the end of the baking time.

    If we prefer to put icing sugar we will have to put it when the cake is out of the oven, once it has cooled down.

Notes

It is kept in the refrigerator. It is best to consume it cold.
