Onion jam

If we put it in toasts it serves as appetizer. But we can also use it to enrich sandwiches, sandwiches or hamburgers. And, of course, it is very good as a garnish to any type of meat.

It is made with onion, apple and sugar. To prepare the one you see in the photo I have used muscovado sugar, the purest and most natural, hence its dark color. Using white sugar the color of the jam is much lighter.

If you are interested in making it good as well as being beautiful, try making it with white sugar and red onion, you will love it.
