Ingredients

Cake

  • 100 g of wheat flour
  • 200 g of ground almonds
  • 200 g soft butter
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • Zest of 2 oranges (do not grate the white part)
  • 16 g baking powder

Orange syrup

  • 150 ml of orange juice
  • 80 g of sugar

Ganache

  • 100 g of dark chocolate for baking
  • 100 ml cream to assemble

Preparation

  1. We heat the oven to 170 °. In our Thermomix glass we put the 200 g of soft butter together with the 250 g of sugar. We mix it programming during 30 seconds at speed 3,5.

  2. Add half of the ground almonds, the zest of the 2 oranges and the 4 eggs. We mix it for 30 seconds at speed 3,5.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients: the other half of the ground almonds, the 100 g of wheat flour, the 16 g of baking powder. We mix it all up 1,30 minutes at kneading speed.

  4. We prepare a cm diameter mold. We can place baking paper inside and on the base to be able to unmold the cake better when it is done. The sides of the mold are greased with butter.

  5. Pour the dough into the mold and put it in the oven at medium height, with heat up and down and for 50 minutes. We will know that the cake is ready when inserting a needle and when extracting it they have to come out clean.

  6. In our clean glass we pour the 150 ml of orange juice and add the 80 g of sugar. We schedule it for 5 minutes at 120 ° at speed 0,5.

  7. When the cake is ready and cooled, turn it upside down and remove the baking paper. Prick the surface with a toothpick and add all the orange syrup that we have prepared. We try to absorb all the juice.

  8. In our clean glass we put 100 g of dark chocolate in pieces together with 100 ml of whipping cream. We schedule it for 3 minutes at 90 ° at speed 0,5.

  9. Cover the cake with the chocolate and let it solidify. We can serve below. It is a juicy and irresistible cake.
