Polenta in Thermomix

I do not know if you have had the opportunity to try a good plate of polenta but my intention is that you do not take long to do it because it is a recipe worthy of being discovered. I had not encouraged myself to publish it because I thought that in Spain it was difficult to find corn flour but this summer I saw it in a small store so there are no excuses.

So that you do not have doubts and you can see that it is easier than it seems, I show you how it is done in a video. In it you will see what the flour what you have to buy and what is the result of those 40 minutes of cooking.

You can serve it with ragout, as seen in the photo, or with your favorite mushrooms. That is if you serve it freshly cooked. If you let it cool you will see that it hardens. In that case, to consume it, you can cut it into pieces (as if it were fried milk) and pass it through the the griddle… It is also a delight.

I did not know that it is a traditional Italian dish ... but I did know that it is a traditional Romanian dish and it is called M? M? LIG ?; It is a substitute for bread or potatoes, it can practically be served with any dish; it is very rich and can also be made thicker; With scrambled eggs and feta cheese it is phenomenal and with grilled, fried or baked fish, with garlic or aioli I don't even tell you… .you have to try it !!!

What kind of cornmeal? Because I have a pure corn and it is very dense

If you are not sure, better look for it in a Romanian store, there you will surely find it; and if you can't find Romanian, some Russian store. It has to be like wheat semolina but yellow, of course?

It is that with the corn flour some delicious breads come out and also the typical talus is made in the Basque country .. but I don't know if the corn flour will be better for the corn type.

It has to be very fine grains, not as fine as wheat flour or cornstarch
